The Laharum Primary education is centred around the development of the whole child, social, emotional and academic. The philosophy behind our excellent results is simply ‘a child who feels happy and safe will learn to the best of his or her ability’, we ensure the opportunities to grow and develop are presented to each child.

Staff, Students, Parents and the community at Laharum Primary School. strive to create a learning environment that is safe, inclusive and supportive for all of our students.

Our school prides itself on community involvement. We participate annually in community events and invite the community to join a variety of school activities. We welcome parent participation as a potential School Councillor, a parent helper in classrooms, an excursion/camp helper or importantly, as a parent willing to be actively involved in the education of your child.

We have strong cluster links with Natimuk PS and the Haven Campus of Horsham West & Haven PS. We share sports events, curriculum initiatives, special cultural performances and at times camps / excursions. These activities help build friendships and links for transition to secondary school.

Laharum Primary School has a firm belief in open and honest communication. We have an open door approach and welcome parents and community to be part of the educational environment.
